talm bout a meal, so good so good ☺️😝

smothered jerk chicken :
• cut bell pepper
• season chicken w/ normal seasoning
• add jerk sauce
•sauté onion, bell peppers, adding garlic afterwards
•add chicken to medium heat pan
•after cooking on both side for 8 -10 mins
•cook in the oven on 400*F for about 30-40
• be sure to flip on both sides in the middle
(I hate flabby meat😭😭😭)
•broil on both sides for 10 mins

corn:
• bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
• add the corn and cook for 5-7 minutes, until tender.
• remove the corn from the pot and drain.
• rub each ear of corn with butter, and season with salt and pepper.

white rice
• rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
• in a medium saucepan, combine the rice, water, and salt.
• bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.
• remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5-10 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.

macaroni and cheese
• cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
• in a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until smooth.
• gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened.
• reduce heat to low and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
• add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.
• optional: pour the macaroni and cheese into a greased baking dish, top with breadcrumbs, and bake at 400°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
