As another graduation season here at Spring ISD comes to an end, some of the officers and staff of the Spring ISD Police Department couldn't help but reminisce about when we were in those graduates' shoes. An Amazing Day at Spring I.S.D.P.D.!
Today, Spring ISDPD Chief Matt Rodrigue had the privilege to announce three promotions within the department. Mrs. Angela Alvarez was announced as the new Administrative Executive Assistant effective July 1st. Officer Lakesha Palmer was promoted to the rank of Corporal with our patrol division. Officer Ruby Gatlin was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, she has the distinction of being the first African American female holding the rank of Sergeant in the history of Spring I.S.D Police Department. We're very proud of these three, and look forward to celebrating their advancement in the department! CONGRATULATIONS!
