It's that time of year! New school year...new challenges and problems of practice. One of the things I love most about my work is coaching school leaders towards achieving excellent results for black and brown kids in urban, high-poverty schools. In this throwback video I discuss the six fundamentals of great coaching in preparation for a one-month initiative I am launching designed to offer complimentary coaching sessions to school leaders who are new to the space of educational leadership, those at new schools, or those who simply need a thought partner.
