The Safe Sleep for Babies Act was signed into law today (05/16/22).

The law prohibits the manufacture or sale of Padded Crib Bumpers or Inclined Sleepers for infants.

Padded Bumpers pose a significant suffocation hazard to infants. This does not include non-padded or mesh bumpers, also known as breathable bumpers, which are still legal for manufacture and sale.
