Did the light hit just right? Because I sure think it did.

I love my “I’m only wearing makeup because I have to” ladies, lol! They are me and I am them. 😂😂😂

I make it a point to keep the approach VERY natural and VERY clean during our first few sessions. This not only creates an environment of comfort, but trust. Trust that I am listening, that I care about their opinion of their final look, and that I am adaptable rather than “one size fits all”.

But once that trust is built, we are gonna push the envelope when the time comes! 🤭😈

A little year in review, shall we?

February. Got a call to work with Mr. Earthquake himself which turned into a year of blessings and BUSYness.

The crazy part is I was literally working on a body (y’all know I do makeup on the living AND the non-living) and didn’t have ANY living folks makeup on me. I hauled my ass up 288 so fast! We already had a small window to work with and I didn’t want to be the cause of any delays.

Grateful is an understatement.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Letting my heart lead me to ask/tell God, “Anyway you bless me, I’ll be satisfied,” changed me inside and out.

Add it to your prayers, mean it, and get to work. He’ll take care of the rest.

Honey, when THEE wedding/event planner calls for updated shots on HER?!?! YOU GET RIGHT ON IT!!

Tai of has a specific attention to detail that doesn’t stop at the large scale events she plans. She is meticulous in all things she puts her mind to, and I love that about her.

Most of all, I love our post-event debriefs! This was when I learned she still thinks about events even after they have completed the task. Those calls are all about collaborating and finding ways to make the next event even greater.
