Our friend 'H' story is a testament to the power of resilience and hope as he embarks on a new chapter in his journey, moving forward from Hope Impacts, yet remaining forever in our family. We are humbled to have played a part in his transformative journey!
'H' reached out to KCM in 2023 for support and was guided to Hope Impacts, where he discovered a safe haven and a work program opportunity that empowered him. Within a few months, he became an integral part of the program and found a safe haven for Broccoli, his beloved cat. As he progressed through the work program, 'H' tirelessly pursued career opportunities. His determination paid off when he landed a remarkable job as a contract systems engineer with a leading power company - a true testament to his strength! Despite facing challenges due to a previous eviction, 'H' persevered, even with a good paying job, and struggled to find a permanent place to live. When the contract was over he knew could return to Hope Impacts for support whenever needed and that brought him peace of mind, and return he did. During his time at Hope Impacts, 'H' cherished the nourishing meals, rejuvenating showers, invaluable services, profound relationships, and sense of community that uplifted his spirit. The wisdom and guidance of the staff, coupled with the camaraderie of peers navigating similar journeys, were truly beacons of hope. Hope Impacts provided 'H' and many others with a safe sanctuary where they could experience love, dignity, support, respect, hope, help, laughter, and nourishing food in the midst of adversity. 'H' extends his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supports Hope Impacts in making a difference in the lives of individuals like him. As we celebrate 'H's triumph over homelessness with a new beginning in a different state supported by family, we ask for prayers for his safe travels and swift employment opportunities. WE WILL MISS YOU 'H' and Broccoli, but know you will forever be part of our family!

Completed an additional food donation delivery to Hope Impacts, an organization that supports homeless individuals. Delivered lunch meat, salad dressing and bread to make sandwiches, and fresh fruit. I am deeply appreciative of being part of this initiative.
