What an amazing mural by !!! This was an extension of the exhibition at with support from the East End Cultural District is proud to have a significant new artwork and grateful to collaborate with our new dear friends! Thank you to Felice, Melissa, Vincent, Adriana, and everyone at CAMH for the support for Rubio - the real deal! Thanks to Dan at for setting it all in motion. The artwork is a tribute to Vincent Valdez’s mother who passed along significance of a cardinal as a sign from a departed loved one who has returned to give guidance and solace. I notice cardinals now, and they mean so much more to me. Thank you Rubio, that was a really great experience!

Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his unwavering commitment to justice, unity, and love. The Light of Hope memorial will stand as a testament to his Six Pillars of Nonviolent Resistance, reminding us that courage, compassion, and a belief in justice can transform our world. We are honored and humbled to work with Shane Allbritton & Norman Lee to bring the vision for this monument to life for the City of Cincinnati.
