Give back at “Pitch in at Hermann Park”! Work alongside Conservancy staff on hands-on projects like planting, mulching, and cleanup—small efforts that make a big impact. Sign-ups required.

🔬 Friday, June 5 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Join us for Discovery Days in the Park—a free, hands-on Science Adventure Series with Collaborative for Children in the Commons! From 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., kids and families can explore, discover, and play through interactive activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity in the great outdoors.

🧘‍♀️ Saturday, June 6 | 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Join us for a peaceful morning with a free Sound Bath led by Daemein Smith of Prioritizing Peace. Hosted in the Commons, this immersive meditation experience uses sound and vibration to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and emotional well-being.

🌼 Saturday, June 6 | 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Step behind the blooms and discover the beauty, stories, and seasonal secrets of the McGovern Centennial Gardens during this free, guided morning stroll with one of the Conservancy’s gardeners. From vibrant flower beds and carefully curated plant collections to hidden details you may have never noticed, this walk offers a behind-the-scenes look at what makes the Gardens one of Houston’s most treasured green spaces.

Kicking It at Hermann Park, presented by ExxonMobil, will be a free celebration designed to bring together Houstonians, visitors, families, and global sports fans through culture, community, and connection. 🤝🌳

Taking place at the Commons, the 15 days of fun will feature dynamic programming, including:
