The history and the legacy of Fayez Sarofim & Co US Men's Clay Court Championship is well know in Houston and to the world-wide tennis community. Part of that legacy is in part due to Houston’s most established and well known sports writers, Dale Robertson. He was honored with the opportunity to handle today’s coin toss to commentate his 50th year covering this tournament. He’s covered countless golf tournaments, Rocket’s games, every Houston NFL game, countless Super Bowls, nearly 70 tennis majors including Wimbledon, Roland Garros, and the US Open and so much more in his illustrious career. What a man and what a career! Well done, Sir!
