Yesterday, we celebrated a very special milestone: our 1,500th adoption of the year. ❤️

The honor belonged to Brittany, now Nala, who left our shelter with her new dad and a bright future ahead. While we're thrilled to celebrate this incredible number, what truly matters is the story behind it. Nala isn't just adoption number 1,500. She's a beloved dog who found the family she was waiting for and the happy beginning she deserves.

Every adoption represents a life changed forever. Every wagging tail walking out our doors means space for another animal in need and another chance at a happy ending.

To Nala and her new family, thank you for helping us reach this milestone. And to our adopters, fosters, volunteers, staff, donors, and supporters, thank you for making all 1,500 of these happy beginnings possible.

Quick update from us 💛

Yesterday we shared a plea for mother and baby cat food, but we forgot to mention a second item we are out of. We are actually in need of BOTH wet and dry mother and baby cat food right now.

It is truly peak kitten season, and with so many tiny mouths in foster care and in the shelter, we are going through supplies quickly. Every can and every bag makes a real difference for moms caring for newborns and for kittens getting their strongest start.
