In other news, I've been intermittent fasting for 3 weeks, was a bit tough at the start but I'm fully in the flow of it now and that combined with my body combat (I have a VR - Virtual Reality - Headset which means I don't have to socialise lol) four times a week, I've lost 13lbs and as anyone in menopause will tell you, it is bloody hard! But the main thing for me is that my sciatica is so improved and even if I don't lose any more weight, my range of movement is so much better.

I've been up and about since 4.45am, workout done, bible study done (working on Acts, it's becoming one of my favourite books so far), cleaned, laundry is laundering, facetimed my gorgeous daughter and now I'm off to organize and box up some more materials x

So what craftiness have I been up to during my month free of Social Media? I have done some illustration courses to add to my sketching and drawing skill base and been adding to my blanket! I’ve never really grasped the crochet skills but I was determined that this time would be different it was.

What creative skills have always been tricky for you but you persevered and finally got the hang of? Or is there a skill you want but need to work on?

Hello Lovelies!

I’ve done several patterns and designs with toadstools, they are magical ❤ they are also a really nice shape to draw as well. So for all you fellow Mycophiles (fungi fans) here’s a template for some toadstools. I added in the little yellow dots because I wanted some kind of firefly glowing effect. Go mad with your colours and stitches although french knots work brilliantly for the moss at the base of the toadstools!
