Seeing the growth of our organization and the young leaders we serve has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my journey. While this award is an incredible milestone, I see it as a reflection of the progress we've made and the potential that lies ahead. As we look toward the coming year, I am excited to continue building new programs, expanding opportunities for girls, and creating an even greater impact in our communities and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Lemonade with Ice and believed in our mission. This recognition belongs to all of you, and I cannot wait to see what we accomplish together next.

Lemonade With Ice (2026 Winner: Non-Profit Organisation Awards) - Acquisition International Lemonade With Ice is one of the 2026 winners of Non-Profit Organisation Awards.

We are honored and grateful to share that Ice received the Mayor’s Next Generation Volunteer Award from the Houston Mayor’s Office this April. Due to the busy schedule around the EmpowerHer Summit, we are sharing this special moment now — but the gratitude and honor remain just as meaningful.

This recognition from the City of Houston is truly one of the highest honors a student volunteer can receive from a city mayor, and we deeply appreciate the encouragement and acknowledgment of Ice’s work through Lemonade with Ice, supporting girls and communities in Houston and around the globe.

A heartfelt thank you to Roman Aguilera for nominating Ice, and to Ashanti for coordinating the award ceremony and inviting Ice to attend and receive this recognition in front of so many Houston city officials. It was truly a memorable and humbling experience.

This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support of the Lemonade with Ice team, our community, mentors, families, friends, and everyone who has believed in this journey from the beginning.

We are filled with gratitude and inspired to continue giving back, empowering youth, and creating positive impact in our communities. Thank you, Houston, for this meaningful recognition. 💛
