🚨 NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE BRAZORIA COUNTY DEPUTY SHOOTING CASE

Brazoria County Sheriff Bo Stallman has released his first public statement since 18 year old John Mendoza Jr. was shot and killed by a deputy inside his family’s garage in Lake Jackson on June 1.

According to the sheriff, the Texas Rangers were called in immediately to conduct an independent investigation, and the department says it will fully cooperate regardless of the outcome.

The statement comes after surveillance video began circulating online that appears to show Mendoza Jr. pulling into his driveway, with a gunshot heard just seconds after the deputy’s sirens stopped.

At this time:

📍 The deputy has not been publicly identified

📍 Authorities have not explained the reason for the attempted traffic stop

📍 The Texas Rangers are leading the investigation

📍 Mendoza’s family continues to demand answers

The case is drawing attention across Texas as investigators work to determine exactly what happened in those final moments.

⚠️ As of now, many key details remain unanswered and the investigation is ongoing.
