Happy 4th of July from Ms. Cricket and family! Have a very safe and fun holiday weekend!

Hope everyone is having a very safe and enjoyable holiday weekend! Due to the beautiful weather, I'm sure most of you are spending the weekend around water. Remember, it takes only a split second for even the most skilled swimmers to submerge due to exhaustion, horseplay or unknown factors. Always swim with a buddy and parents, NEVER leave the kiddos unsupervised.

Summer is almost here!! At-home lessons begin Monday, May 20 and a new ARC lifeguard class has been scheduled!

Lifeguard Class: Friday, May 17-Sunday, May 19 at the West University Place Recreation Center.

Tomorrow morning will hopefully be the end of Lifeguard Class #2. Huge class, exhausting but so much fun! With more people wanting to join the Lifeguard ranks, class #3 is officially scheduled! May 17 - May 19! A one-weekend class?? A definite challenge, but one I'm up for!

Finally back in the water for the 2013 season with my first lifeguard class today! It feels great to be back in the pool!
