1. CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE. - Ex.4:10-13
- We make excuses why it should not be us.
- We look at our inadequacies.
- Afraid of failing.
- God knows about your inadequacies.
- He has a plan to see you through.
2. YOU LOOK AT WHERE OTHERS HAVE FAILED.
- If they failed, how can you succeed.
- They were let down by those they trusted.
3. DO NOT LET YOUR WEAKNESS CONTROL YOU. - 2Cor.12:7-10
- Embrace your weakness
- Work on it.
- Focus on the goal
- God is made strong in your weakness.
- His grace is sufficient for you
- He will provide what you need

1. A proud look. - v.17, Prov.16:5
* Proud means to have an excessively high opinion of oneself or one’s importance.
- The eyes reveal what is in the heart
* The emotions of the heart - Love, sadness, despair, anger or pride.
- Pride goes before fall. - Prov.16:18
* The bigger your pride, the harder your fall.
* Do not be selfish. - Phil.2:3
- Why does God hate pride?
* Full of himself.
* Believes he does not need God.
2. A lying tongue. - v.17
- Americans and the truth.
* 91% lie about trivial matters.
* 86% lie to their parents.
* 75% lie to their friends.
* 73% lie to their siblings.
* 69% lie to their spouse.
- God delights in honesty. - Prov.12:22
* Be a positive witness for God.
- Mt.5:16, 1Tim.4:12.
3. Hands that shed innocent blood. - v.17,
- You can kill with the mouth. - Mt.5:21-22
* Restore, not tear down. - Eph.4:29
* Lift up, not pull down.
4. A heart that devises wicked schemes. - v.18, Mt. 15:19
- We are naturally selfish. - Jer.17:9
- What is in your heart?
* Evil is conceived in the heart.
* Look for ways to benefit others.
* Fill your heart with good thoughts. - Phil.4:8
5. Legs that run to do evil. - v.18
- When the heart becomes hardened.
* No more control.
* Runs to shed blood. - Prov.1:15-16
* They leave a trail of destruction. - Is.59:7
- Stay away from the way of the ungodly.-
Ps.1:1.
* Believe the best in others.
6. A lying witness. - v.19
- Breathes lies, fans the flames of lies.
- A deadly tongue. - James 3:5-6
* Be truthful. - Mt.5:37.
7. A man who sows dissension. - Galveston.5:13-15
- Strive for unity.
* Be a gatherer.
* Be a unifier.
