7 years ago today I quit my job as barber! I walked in the shop and the owner said “We don’t wanna hear about going viral, we don’t wanna hear about comedy today we sick of it! I’m speaking for everybody!” So I packed my station up as I’m packing everybody tell me I’m tripping! I’m like naw I’m bout to chase my dream! I took a picture of my station and said I want to remember this day forever! I wasn’t monetized and I had 13k followers on Facebook and 80k on IG. I cut hair out my house to make ends meet. I remember being in between places during this journey and sleeping in my car. I would have viral videos on Worldstar yet I’m sleeping in my car. I had came up with these Walmart video concepts and another creator i had been doing content with had stole some of my ideas and blew up off them. He told me he was trying to make it out the hood and i didnt respect it. I was so angry but I took that drive and created the hugging random people because I knew nobody had the courage to steal that from me. It took me 18 months to get monetized during this time and there were times when I thought about giving up. I kept pushing and here I am today with 3 million followers and 10 million across all platforms. I wanna thank you all for the support the love and the hate it keeps me motivated 🙏🏾
