I actually finished Peakychu first before I worked on Mosslax, but I kept editing her over and over until I was happy. As much as Pikachu is my favorite Pokemon, it's one of the harder ones for me to draw. Maybe it's because I'm pickier about how they look and making sure I'm doing them justice, haha
But I'm super happy with how she turned out! ⚡⚡⚡
I think the hardest part is going to be color matching for pins...
I didn't have time to make a post for my table yesterday before the event started so enjoy a very quick and panicked collection of short videos I gathered!
As always: new LADS merch and my original monster, the Yakodoshi series, debut! I didn't get a lot of interest over my monsters yesterday but it was probably because of a poor placement choice on my end 😔 learn for next time!
My Cursed Talisman Cats ✨
I should have finished these some time late last year but after having lost my iPad to Germany and being distracted with LADS, well, it least to say, it wasn't a priority. But, I'm really happy to have finished these, because like my Yakudoshi monsters, these designs are original to me!
A quick lore drop: These cats exist in the same universe as my Yakudoshi monsters, and much like my first set of monsters, they may look evil or have ill intentions, but their purpose is to protect those who are afflicted from harm by absorbing their curse - thus, their purpose as a talisman.
I plan to have these as a blind bag - perhaps a short Kickstarter/Backerkit campaign to have them funded!
