August 3rd from 6 to 8 PM, our founder will be speaking to Side Project Society about brand positioning theory and telling the RedShift Writers story at Improving's Houston office.
Here are five reasons why you should attend.
1) Side Project Society is an organization worth supporting. The founders are mindful and welcoming, and the mission is righteous.
Lots of people start side gigs but need help figuring out how to get those projects off the ground or grow them sustainably.
Now, there's a group they can go to exchange knowledge and help each other get where they are going.
2) The crowd at Side Project Society is diverse in their experiences, professional knowledge, and goals.
No matter who you are, you'll feel welcome. You'll be able to help someone, and someone will be able to help you, too.
3) Free beer, pizza, and coffee (so that's really three reasons)!
4) Awesome speakers! I'm a little biased, but the last two guest speakers, Mark Freydl and Ayoade Ademuyewo are also excellent. Go check out their startups (Codiac and Lokum), and shake their hands next Thursday.
5) Positioning is the ultimate marketing theory, and we'll be giving away a lot of actionable insights on how to position your company all for the extravagant price of absolutely freaking free.
RSVP at the link, book your calendar, and show up!

A lot more than you think.
The other day, a member of our team was playing the board game Sequence with a couple of friends and noticed what a masterful job the box did communicating about the game.

The PESO marketing model was created to demonstrate how to divide your resources among paid, earned, shared, and owned media. Owned media is prioritized in the model, but according to one of the best-selling authors of the last two decades, the benefits of owned media include more than just the tremendous ROI it yields.
See what owned content can achieve for your business and your long-term vision in our latest blog post.
RedShift Writers | Blog | Owned Media & PESO Marketing According to the PESO marketing model, owned media yields high ROI, but as Ryan Holiday explains, the real power of owned media runs even deeper.
