What better way to celebrate the excitement of the FIFA World Cup than playing soccer?

Yorkshire Academy campers are having a blast sharpening their skills, learning the fundamentals of the game, and building teamwork through our soccer camp led by our longtime partner, Junior Athletes.

The Yorkshire Summer Programs offers a variety of camps from trusted partners in a safe, secure and nuturing environment. We're happy to partner with Junior Athletes and appreciate them for helping our young players grow their love of the game while joining in the excitement of this global event!

Some of our favorite summer camp moments happen when our own faculty share their passions with students. From storytelling and art to hands-on projects, there’s no shortage of excitement in our summer camps.

This week, Yorkshire faculty members Ms. Bijarro, Mrs. Thomas, and Ms. Zahra led engaging experiences through DIY Junior, Storybook Camp and Painting for Purpose
From creating and crafting to reading, imagining, and exploring, campers are learning new skills, building friendships, and making wonderful summer memories.

We're so grateful for the talented faculty members and community partners who help make our summer programs such a special part of the season. Our kids are loving it! And we love watching them learn, grown and have fun!

Tomorrow marks the last day of Week 1 of our 2026 Summer Program, and what a fantastic start it has been!

Is your summer off to a great start? Ours certainly is! Our campers have been busy creating art and crafts, cooling off with water play, learning about trees with the Houston Audubon Society, sharpening their minds through chess, expressing themselves through dance, and exploring new ideas every day.

There's been plenty of learning, laughter, creativity, and fun and we're just getting started!
We can't wait to see what next week's campers do and create!

From math problems to artistic creations, our students represented Yorkshire Academy at the end of the school year with excellence at this year's PSIA competition. We are incredibly proud to celebrate their dedication, perseverance, and talent they demonstrated throughout the competition season.

We're proud to say, we had a 1st place winner, students who won in more than one category and one who placed even though they were competing a grade level up.

Summer camp season is officially underway!

Today was day one of our 2026 Summer Program and our campers jumped right into hands-on learning and fun. They explored nature with the Houston Audubon Society through tree rubbings and lessons about trees, cooled off with water play, created projects in needlecraft camp, and challenged themselves in chess.

The energy, curiosity, and excitement were everywhere! And we're just getting started! This is only Week 1, and we'll be here all summer long making memories, building skills, and having fun together.
