This was such a glamorous and very special made to measure gown that my client commissioned for a very special birthday celebration.
The inspiration was old Hollywood and the art deco era …so naturally we went with something very metallic and with some soft flowing lines.

The fabric for this gown was completely designed and created from scratch just for my client. It even named after her.
It is a silvery tulle base with thousands of silver leaf foils and strass pearls in an opalescent hue.
The waist is accented with a hand beaded silk and swarovski crystal applique and the entire gown is lined in silk.

How stunning does this client look in this fabulous ombré cocktail skirt that is embellished with silver foils. This is one of those pieces that you have to see and try on in person because it is even more striking in person! The way that the icy blue fades perfectly into that warm metallic gold and then is set “ablaze “ by the foils…it really makes this piece shine with a celestial effect…
I love that she chose to wear it at an outdoor party while the sun was still shining.
