Lyrics for Learning

Lyrics for Learning is a scholarship competition catering to talented students from 2nd - 12th grade who are inspired by what they listen to. These young, gifted students will have the chance to showcase their abilities and originality in doing what they love to do. Lyrics for Learning is centered around unity, creativity and education, with a vision of providing the opportunity for students to learn and grow together. We believe that music moves people, and by way of its lyrical content, voices of the younger generation are heard. Many kids lack the support that they need throughout school, so we anticipate reaching the hearts of these students to give them hope and motivate them to keep moving forward.
Music has a transparent, diverse message, and its very existence provokes and inspires youth, encouraging them to follow their dreams. The significance of this scholarship competition is to see young ones thrive and express themselves. The competition awards over 25,000 in scholarships and gifts for the winners. Including, a five-thousand-dollar scholarship to the first-place high school winner, and a donation of five-thousand dollars towards the Art’s Music Department of the school that the first- place high school winner currently attends.
We want our youth to continue to educate themselves and put forth effort to unify and teach, rather than dissipate and struggle. Lyrics for Learning says love who you become when you love what you do. By fostering this message and planting it in the hearts and minds of our next generation, they will then succeed.
