WHY THE RESURRECTION MATTERS?

One of the most important events of the Christian faith is the is the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When Jesus was on earth, he claimed to be the “Resurrection and the life” John 11:25. He proved this when he raised his good friend Lazarus from the dead.
Those who were eye witnesses of it were so convinced that they went out and spread the news of it throughout the Roman Empire 1 Corinthians15:1-6. But the question is how did believing in the help those in Jesus’ day and why does the resurrection matter to us today?
