Big news worth saluting!

In honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary, we’ve received a grant from the CenterPoint Energy Foundation to serve the needs of Veterans and their families. Thanks to this amazing support, we’re getting to enhance our work to continue our mission of Healing Heroes through Nature and Relationship.

We’re proud to be a voice for the wellness needs of Veterans, along with our first responders, and we appreciate our community partners for helping us expand our mission.

Howdy everyone, Jason here! It’s a true honor for us at Guardian Grounds to support incredible families like the Pettits, generational members of our first responder community. Most recently, we were able to help their daughter Cora, who’s been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, by providing her with new leg braces. Her parents shared touching photos from her first day today! She is now walking with her braces—and report she’s already showing amazing improvement in her gait, posture, and stride! Stories like Cora’s inspire us every day to keep pushing forward.

Her dad is a third-generation firefighter, and now this first responder family needs our community behind them.
