Big win today in the Brazilian kidnapping case. It's a big win not only for our clients, but for the law. Despite the accused domestic violence abuser's attempts to hide behind the law and have our case dismissed, he was unsuccessful. This is a big thing. Fundamentally, this is a reaffirmation that the law does not let you ratify your fraud and try to hide behind a technicality or legal argument. For the first time, our client's case will finally, truly be heard. As Texas courts have said for over 150 years, "Fraud vitiates everything it touches." Congrats Carlos and Jemima! More to come.
