We hope you are having an enjoyable Fourth of July. Celebrating the country's 250th birthday should be a time of reflection but also fun, relaxation and -- of course -- fireworks.

Our thoughts also turn to the ongoing crisis in Venezuela. As we mentioned earlier this week, the United Methodist Committee on Relief is on scene helping as they can. Your financial support is vital. We've created a drop down at www.stpaulshouston.org/give where you can make your gift. All monies raised will go to the UMCOR relief effort, as will our communion rail offering.

We will be in worship Sunday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 5501 Main Street, Houston. A number of our clergy are away either with our mission team to Bolivia or taking some vacation time. St. Paul's is blessed to have a number of retired clergy who are a part of our church. They will be stepping in this week in a variety of roles during our services.
