Houston Counseling Association
06/30/2026
As my term as President of the Houston Counseling Association comes to a close, I simply want to say thank you. Serving as your President has been one of the greatest honors of my professional career, and I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such dedicated members, volunteers, committee chairs, and an exceptional Executive Board.
Together, we stabilized our finances, increased our digital presence, launched new initiatives focused on Graduate students, strengthened our Association, honored our Past Presidents and created a foundation that will continue to serve HCA for years to come. I am incredibly proud of all that we accomplished together.
As I transition into the role of Past President, I look forward to supporting our incoming President, Dr. Cecily Batiste, and the continued success of HCA.
Please stay tuned for the release of the HCA Scholarship Edition and the FY2026 Year in Review Newsletter, where we will celebrate the milestones, accomplishments, partnerships, and memories that made this such a remarkable year.
Thank you for believing in the vision of Leading with Purpose: Empowering Counselors, Impacting Communities. It has truly been an honor to serve.
With sincere appreciation,
Dr. Jessica D. Davis, LPC-S, NCC
