Today, our Veterinary Public Health Animal Control Officer, Fox, presented alongside the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to provide property managers with guidance and recommendations on animal welfare and safety.

By educating property managers, we hope to help create safer environments for residents and the pets they may encounter on their properties. Opportunities like these allow us to share valuable resources, education, and support that help keep Harris County community members safe, healthy, and informed.

Thank you to everyone who participated and continues working to promote animal welfare throughout our community! 🐾

🐾 This Foster a Pet Month, you can help change a life.

With nearly 700 pets in our care, foster families give animals the comfort, love, and space they need while they wait for forever homes. Whether it’s playful kittens, growing puppies, or pets needing a quiet place to decompress, every foster home makes a difference. ❀️
