Do you really think Delhi dogs will be just kept in shelters and fed and nurtured?
I live in Houston, Texas. We have 1 million strays in our city, and not enough shelters to hold them. Not all strays are taken to the pounds. They live in their own spaces on the streets. But, if a dog ends up at the shelter, and is not adopted or rescued from there, then they are euthanized to make room for more intake.
India does not have the infrastructure like USA, so to even think that these dogs' lives will be spared is a fantasy. Each one of them will be killed. That's the truth!
All these people wanting removals/deaths of these innocent voiceless, are the ones who need to adopt or foster a stray, so that they can grow some love in their hearts and can teach their kids how to respect animals.
Dogs don't bite unprovoked. If they are biting someone, there is a good reason for it. Dogs can sense things we cannot. So they see something we don't. And it aligns with the fact that instead of seeking solutions, like spay/neuter/vaccination, these vile humans choose to just do away with all the dogs, because it's convenient to them.
Thank God for all the animal lovers who are working hard to save these babies. Thank God these entitled people do not form a majority! Thank God India is still a land full of compassion and love.
