My vet friend contacted me regarding Sammy. Sammy was pulled off the kill list by a wonderful man who saved her because she was only being killed because she needed a skin treatment. She is currently being held at my Westbury Animal Hospital. She is 4 mo, 25 lbs...and very sweet. She need a foster for approx 4-6 weeks while she is going through her demodex treatments. Vet bills and care for her and daily pay to a foster will be provided by the man that rescued her. This girl was saved from death once already....she just needs a little boost so she can find her forever home. This was said by the person that found her: By the way, from the few days that I have had her I’ve found that she is very social, gets along with other dogs and likes to be around people. She’s very sweet, likes to cuddle, and hasn’t had any accidents in the house. She also hasn’t chewed or torn up anything. Likes to play with dog toys but doesn’t seem to know how to play fetch yet.
I really think that she’s going to be a great dog, that’s pretty much why I am trying so hard to find her a home.
