With this COVID-19 virus wrecking havoc on our Country Schools are not spared. As you know many schools have been shut down for an extended
Period of time. This not only causes major problems for families and teachers, but the Corona virus is causing many issues for the school establishment (State agencies, local Districts, and others).
So, while we’re in sort of an imposed isolation, Parents have to plan to help teach their Children at home. One major thing is to set a “school schedule” each day as a routine. This will keep kids in a study frame of mind.
Also, as schools send either study packs or Chromebook laptops home with each child it’s important that parents learn a little about the technology. Kids know way more than adults, but if parents learn the basics kids will not dare use the computers for games and not complete online assignments. Finally, be patient as we as a country work through this situation. Schools and others are doing their best during this unprecedented situation. “Trust that God is working this out”.

Repost: Never be fast to say your Child didn’t say that:
When I served as an Assistant Principal over 12 years, I was Always Surprised by some Parents who acted Surprised when I told them their Child had Cussed out a teacher, and that their action was the reason for 3 days of out is school suspension. Then after talking for a while the parent would let it slip that the Child had Cussed them out too. Well, apples never fall to far from the tree, so to speak. If the Child would cuss the parent out what do you expect she will do outside of their presence.

The key is for parents to know their children well enough to admit what they are capable of doing or saying. Furthermore, Schools can help solve a lot of issues with kids if Parents and Teachers work together on one accord. Schools are just an extension of the Family, and Families are a microcosm of society in general. Thus, teachers and parents can work together to help create a better society. Just Remember: “Together We Can Create a Better Child”.
