Today, on World Environment Day, NAHSE Houston recognizes the important connection between healthy communities, environmental sustainability, and health equity.

The environments where we live, work, learn, and play directly impact our health outcomes. From access to clean air and water to safe neighborhoods and green spaces, environmental health is public health.

As healthcare leaders, we have a responsibility to champion sustainable practices, support healthier communities, and advocate for environmental justice that benefits all populations.

Together, we can help create a healthier future—for our patients, our communities, and generations to come.

June is Men’s Health Month, and we’re coming together for a powerful conversation focused on awareness, prevention, and advancing health equity for men across our communities.

Join us for the Men’s Health Summit hosted in collaboration with Houston Methodist, NALHE Greater Houston, and ACHE Southeast Texas Chapter as we bring together healthcare leaders, clinicians, and executives to address the unique health challenges impacting men today.

This summit will explore key topics including preventive care, mental health, chronic disease management, and how we can collectively improve access, education, and outcomes for men in our communities.

Let’s move beyond awareness and into action—strengthening how we engage, support, and care for men’s health year-round.
