Come join us for our Freedom for All: Juneteenth celebration. Our fun celebration will include food, games, crafts, music and more tying into the history of Juneteenth.

This program is for all ages.

Join us for Books and Bites on Saturday, June 13 at 10:00 am. Enjoy a story time with light refreshments from a local author. This Saturday, local author Barbara Browning will be joining us.

Join the Learn Latin Club at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library (930 Corbindale Rd. Houston, TX 77024). These classes will introduce elementary Latin and Ancient Roman culture to middle school (4th--8th grade) students. Students will be using the Aequora textbook created by the Paideia Institute, a nonprofit organization for the Classics. Students will participate in activities such as drawing scenes from Greco-Roman mythology and drawing comics with Latin words. Over 60% of English words are Latin-based --- students can expect to gain a deeper understanding of English grammar and vocabulary through interaction with Latin in this program.
