Free online training is available for Texans with developmental disabilities and their parents, guardians, and caregivers.

These self-paced, bilingual (English and Spanish) trainings provide practical information on navigating healthcare, Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), IEP and ARD meetings, Medicaid waiver programs, patient rights, self-advocacy, and effective communication with healthcare and service providers.

The training is free, can be completed from any internet-connected device, and is available through October 30, 2026.
