Last Thursday, we had the privilege of attending the first InnovatED Meet-Up at The Cannon Houston, bringing together educators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders committed to shaping the future of education.

The conversation between Christopher Mayes, CEO & Superintendent of Wonderland Inc. and Beatrice Mayes Institute, and Jon Lambert, CEO of The Cannon & Tandem, was both inspiring and deeply connected to the work we do every day.

Their insights highlighted something we strongly believe: education is not only about delivering information. It is about creating environments where young people can grow, connect, discover their strengths, and access the tools they need to succeed.

As we continue building EsperHope, our interactive platform designed to support socio-emotional well-being, life skills, and personal growth, these conversations remind us why innovation matters.

Technology becomes powerful when it strengthens human connection, expands access, and brings meaningful support into schools and communities.

We are grateful to Naeem Vehvaria, Founder of UpWita, and his team for organizing such a thoughtful gathering, and to Rochelle Brown-Anderson and Be Ingenious for hosting and facilitating such an engaging conversation.

One of the most valuable parts of the evening was the opportunity to connect with so many passionate leaders who care deeply about creating positive change. We left energized, inspired, and excited about the possibilities ahead.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and exploring future collaborations that help bring innovation, well-being, and opportunity to more schools, families, and communities.
