Hey Houston friends! What did the "BE SOMEONE" grafitti mean to you?

I drove past it every morning when I worked downtown and it reminded me to be my own genuine self. To bring compassion, light, and positive energy to my day and to try to make a positive difference in someone else's life, in any small way I could. And at the same time it reminded me that while all the external happenings in the world are important, it's also incredibly important to care for myself. To take time to reflect, be thoughtful, and to do what I needed to do for myself so that I could be there for others when I needed to.

So, what does "BE SOMEONE" mean to you?

I know the grafitti's no longer there and won't be coming back, but I decided to make myself a patch for my bag so that I can still have that daily reminder. An Etsy client asked me to digitize this for a mask, but then decided they didn’t want one. Well, I’m not one to let a fun design languish, so I’ve turned it into a patch that’s now listed in the Etsy shop.
