So fitting that my first ever gala would be an invitation from a Latina to the Mexico's Fiestas Patrias Gala to celebrate El Grito Awards with the Mexico Chamber of Commerce and the Mexican Consulate. Huge thank you Adrianna Clausen from MenoWake (local award winning Latina Entrepreneur and event sponsor) for the invitation, it was an honor to be among your attendees.

Also loved running into Humberto Martinez (an Honoree that night) and his wife Stacey, Owners of Space City Birria Tacos and More (located in Downtown Houston); they have been such great friends to me during this time.

And, even bigger thank you to Electra Solis of Glamour House HTX in Northside Houston's Lindale Park (my neighborhood) for being my amazing Glam squad of One, she did an GREAT job helping me get ready for the event.

As a First Generation Mexican-American it is always so meaningful for me to be able to show up and represent. To be among and surrounded by so many other Mexican/Latino Professional/Executives, Entrepreneurs and well-established Community Leaders during these festivities is a great reminder of where we stand in our country.

Their love and support means so much to me at this point in my career and personal life.
