Immunology Graduate Program / MD Anderson UTHealth Graduate School

The immunology and quantitative sciences programs will be hosting a collaboration mixer on March 13th 5-6pm (2SCRB1 RM. 1) in hopes of students meeting partners in science. Registration for the event closed March 2nd. This will be an exciting opportunity to gain insights into new fields for students in both programs!

Last week, Wednesday October 16th, the Immunology Program had our monthly Immunology club meeting. Drs. Fueyo, Lizee, and Gubin gave 15 minute chalk talks on the work taking place in their labs. The IMM Program congratulates student Rosa Santana-Carrero (PI: Kim Schluns) on her first author publication in PNAS, titled "IL-15 is a component of the inflammatory milieu in the tumor microenvironment promoting antitumor responses."
