Galveston County is hosting a FREE Tire Recycling Event May 4th – 8th, 2026 from 7am to 4pm at 11730 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, TX 77510.

Must show proof that you are a Galveston County resident, MAX 8 tires per vehicle, no commercial or agricultural tires will be accepted.

It was an honor to join Economic Alliance Houston Port Region and Bay Area Houston Transportation Partnership this week in Washington D.C. to advocate for road and flood mitigation infrastructure funding and more efficient processes for permitting and review. 🚧

I also had the opportunity to attend the National Republican Congressional Committee President’s Dinner. Thank you to Congressman Randy Weber and Brenda Weber, Chad Burke, Amy Skicki, Texas International Terminals, and everyone else who made the week possible. I look forward to strengthening our partnerships and getting these important projects done. 👍
