Port Houston

Port Houston is proud to support the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation’s My Home Library Program. Our Port Houston Police Officers, along with our Community Relations team, were excited to help distribute 1,830 books to 305 students at Carrillo Elementary. Supported through our 2025 Community Grants Program, the initiative focuses on expanding access to books for local students by helping them build home libraries and foster a love of reading.

From the devices we use every day to machinery, appliances, and electronics, these are among the top imports moving through Port Houston.
These goods travel thousands of miles before reaching our terminals and ultimately support businesses and households across the region. Port Houston handles 75% of containers moving in the U.S. Gulf Coast.
