More often than not, simplicity is the best design philosophy. Such is the case with this matched coffee and end table set. The design features simple lines and subtle details that draw the eye to the beauty of the natural wood.

The tables are made from 2 sets of bookmatched Texas pecan wood slabs from our friends at Berdoll Sawmill, located in Cedar Creek, Texas.

Both tables feature double waterfall ends, ensuring a continuous grain pattern across the entire length of the pieces. A heavy bevel applied to the bottom edges lightens the visual appearance of the pieces without adding a sense of fragility. UHMW plastic runners were added to the legs to allow the tables to be easily reconfigured with minimal effort.

The tables are complemented with our signature Moai coasters. This set of coasters carries on the design of the tables by utilizing bookmatched pecan with walnut breadboard ends. The Moai “statue” is made from solid walnut and is internally counterbalanced for stability.

Every coffee table needs an eye catching set of drink coasters. This signature coaster design is the perfect match for our coffee table offerings. We incorporate the woods and design elements from the coffee table in a complementary each other. The sample coasters feature okoume wood strips with walnut accents. The base, inspired by ancient Moai statues of Easter Island, titles backward at 5 degrees to increase stability and visual appeal.
