In addition to securing 1st chair Tenor Saxophone All-Region Band, Rafael achieved 1st Chair Jazz Bass Guitar All Region Jazz Band and 3rd place Jazz Bass Guitar in the State of Texas for the 4A All-State Jazz Band. This is an extraordinary honor, underscoring his exceptional leadership, musicality, and proficiency in jazz performance.

Note: The 4A Jazz All-State selection is highly competitive, with only one bass player allowed to be part of the All-State Jazz Band. Rafael’s achievement is a testament to his talent and to the strength of our program.
