The Shines at the Royal Arch AGM! 🏛️⚒️
The bonds of the Companion Orders were on full display this past Saturday, March 14th, as the Mark Degree made a powerful showing at the Provincial Grand Chapter of Cheshire’s Annual General Meeting in Stockport!
It was a day of high energy, brisk business, and true Masonic fellowship.
🏛️ Representing the Mark with Pride
Our very own leadership was on the ground to fly the Mark flag and engage with the Brethren:
• W. Bro. John Miller
Assistant Provincial Grand Master
• W. Bro. Ian Muirhead
APGM Designate
The Mark Information Table was a hub of activity all day! Interest in the Fourth Degree of the Craft was incredibly high, with many Companions eager to learn how the Mark completes the journey of a Master Mason.
👔 A Sell-Out Success!
The team came prepared but perhaps not quite prepared enough for the overwhelming demand! The small stock of Mark Ties brought along Just in Case was completely snapped up by enthusiastic Brethren. If you missed out, don't worry more will be available soon!
🗝️ The Journey Continues: See You Next Week!
It was a fantastic meeting, and we extend our thanks to the Royal Arch for their warm hospitality. Now, the countdown begins...
📢 Attention all Mark Masons and interested Companions:
We look forward to welcoming you all to OUR Mark AGM next week! Let's keep this momentum going as we celebrate the unique beauty of the Mark degree.

: A Grand Slam for Freemasonry! ⚾🏛️
One of our favorite summer memories takes us to the streets of Williamsport, PA, where the Grand Lodge float joined the excitement of the Little League International World Series Grand Slam Parade! Williamsport isn't just the home of youth baseball, it’s a city with deep Masonic roots and a vibrant community of Brethren.
🏛️ The Three Pillars of Williamsport
The city is anchored by three dedicated lodges that keep the light of the Craft burning bright every week:
• Ivy Lodge No. 106 (1st Mondays)
• John F. Laedlin Lodge No. 707 (2nd Mondays)
• Dietrick Lamade Lodge No. 755 (3rd Mondays)
🗝️ Masonic History in the Dugout
Did you know that the very foundation of Little League has a Masonic connection?
• Carl Stotz, the founder of Little League, was a proud member of John F. Laedlin Lodge No. 707.
• The connection to the community continues today Williamsport’s current Mayor, Derek Slaughter, served as a pallbearer at Brother Carl’s funeral, honoring a legacy that began with one of the four original Little League teams.
🤝 Discipline, Consistency, and Community
Whether on the baseball diamond or within the Lodge, the values of teamwork and character building remain the same. Seeing the Grand Lodge float in the parade is a beautiful reminder that our Fraternity moves with purpose and pride in the public eye.

The ceremony was conducted to a high standard, with particularly impressive ritual work by the Worshipful Master, Bro. Michael Edwards (IPM), who presided in the absence of W.Bro. Barry Lee Crawford.
