Now Kovu is wondering if he accidentally sang the wrong song. Was it the roar? Too much puppy charm? Is it because he's a black dog? Unfortunately, black dogs really are overlooked more often, and Kovu can't figure out why.

The joke's on everyone else because they're missing out on an absolutely fantastic puppy.

Kovu is a 3 month old Lab mix who weighs 18 pounds and is basically the definition of "good boy." He's sweet as can be, loves everyone he meets, gets along with other dogs, is cat friendly, and is ready to make himself right at home with your family.

Meet Oliver—aka Ollie—a happy, lovable husky/bully mix who’s ready to find his person and his perfect pack!

At about 15 months old and 65 pounds, Ollie is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He loves playing with other dogs and truly thrives with a canine companion—he will need a home with another friendly dog to help him continue to shine.

Oliver is a smart boy who listens well and is eager to please. He’s spent the past few months building his confidence, and now he’s blossomed into a fun, social pup who enjoys walks, playtime, and being part of the action.

When he’s not busy playing, Oliver is a total snuggle bug. He’s convinced he’s a lap dog (all 65 pounds 😅) and loves being close to his people—whether that’s in bed, by your side, or flopped over on his back with his paws in the air.

He is crate trained and house trained, and does well with a routine. Like most young pups, he can get a little vocal when excited, but he settles nicely and continues to impress with how well he listens.

Oliver would do best in a calm home or one with older teens, where he can feel comfortable and continue to thrive. He’ll do great with a family that includes him in daily life, keeps him active, and gives him gentle guidance along the way.

Oliver is a sweet, goofy, affectionate boy who’s ready to dedicate himself fully to his human—and his furry sibling too. If you’re looking to add a loving, playful new member to your pack, Oliver is ready to jump right in. 💙

Sweet Ivy is looking for a temporary foster from July 16 through July 24 while her foster family is out of town.

Ivy is almost 8 months old, fully vetted, and patiently waiting for her forever home. She just needs a safe place to crash for a little over a week!
