Natural hairstyles are such a beautiful art. You can be as creative as you like and I love that. Flat twist styles became my favorite and go to once I realized “Damn…I’m really good at this.” 😏

Doing two strand twists have allowed me the space I need for creativity. There are so many techniques, styles, and intricacies that detail the artwork.

Staying true to Me.

Your natural hair doesn’t have to be boring. When I first started transitioning to Natural (2011) many ppl asked me “What you gone do with it, an afro?” …My response: You gone see. I can style some hair.

I know some beauty experts don’t favor the gels and holding products. They prefer a “dry natural” look. And I think that’s great!

There are also many beauty experts, like myself, that prefer a “sleek natural look” And that’s ok too!

There’s no 1 way to style a head of hair. There’s no 1 rule you have to stick to when it comes to being natural or styling Natural Hair. You should do what YOU want for your hair and your clients…cuz let me tell you lol

My tribe found me and love what I do because they didn’t want the traditional natural edges, dry twists, or 3-day styles. They wanted to be natural but still enjoy sleek looks! …but make it healthy. 😎
