Honor the Christ of Christmas

I pray that you are all doing well as we enter this Holiday Season and all its activities.

Christmas is an important time. Every one of us is called to let God's Light shine into and from our hearts with divine love, peace, and joy. Our lives need to activate this divine dynamic, for that is what we've entered this life to do and be. And certainly, the world and all its people dearly need this light and our prayers at this time.

We must remember that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus the Christ. He is our Elder Brother and Way Shower with whom we have an eternal connection. It is also a reminder that we all have the Christ, the very Presence of God, in us. Granted, it gets covered over via the conditioning of the world, or we fall asleep to its transforming power and goodness residing in us.

Some think Jesus entered the world to save it, when in actuality, he gave us the tools and the Way to save ourselves. He taught us "the Way, the Truth, and the Life", that connects us to the Source and gives us the power to transcend limiting and challenging circumstances.

Jesus' birth into the world was sacred, and this Christmas will be sacred for you, as you create the moments to personally touch the sacred that lives in you. In doing so, we honor Jesus, God, and the God in us.

May your Christmas be filled with happy, harmonious, healing, joyous, love-filled times!
