Had so much fun yesterday at our Storyboard workshop! and I walked our attendees through a process for creating storyboards and a powerful tool for leveraging stories for almost anything they need to create. From their marketing to videos to books. I love the engagement and seeing all the completed boards. Check out for future .

Me starting off the year great doing my digital vision board. This year I shared how I do them with a few friends. There’s actual science behind it. So much fun! I’m excited to how much manifests this year.

Happy New Year to you and yours!! I’m too lazy to do a recap but I’m so grateful I got to take those 366 days around the sun in 2024 with you. So grateful. I’m ready for 2025 and all that it brings. One thing is that I know I can do hard things. I know how much I am loved and what I have to offer the world. In 2025 I’m going to love hard, hold my friends close, love on my family, especially my two sons, mentor and help as many young designers as I can, and open my heart to receive love. I’m going to be unapologetic about prioritizing myself, especially since my health took a hit last year. I’m getting back on track and I know I can turn it around in my favor. 2025, here I come!!! 🙏🏾🎉🥳❤️

Such a beautiful event and so many wonderful souls came through to support all the independent authors Indie Stories Bookfair. And we had the most perfect weather and great music! Wonderful to see all the people who came out to support this wonderful bookstore on . They had a line y’all! 🙌🏾 (And they say people don’t read anymore. We do, you just gotta find your tribe.)

grabbed my heart and never let it go. I sat in the theater crying as the credits rolled. What a gut wrenching and beautiful story. I will never look at the Wizard of Oz the sam again. I love seeing Elfabab’s story. Give all the awards now! was wonderful also. I know this movie will stay with me for a while.

I’ve been invited to be a part of Indie Stories  here in Houston, TX next Saturday where I’ll be signing copies of my book - Love Never Dies. They truly believe in giving back to the community and I’m so honored to have been selected to participate in this event and to share my story. October is gone and it was so good to me. I'm so thankful for all the connections I made. All the people who touched my life last month. All the colleagues I ran into or reached out.

I'm so grateful for the new opportunities that came to me without me having to do anything except be ME.

I had more beautiful conversations than I can remember with so many unexpected people -- at the gym, in the grocery store, standing in line, at church, and, at a conference. What this shows is that 1) people crave connection and 2) there is so more goodness in the world than you realize, especially if you lead with it.

Kindness comes back in unexpected ways when you give it.

The most important thing I did though was vote. I'm so grateful for my ancestors and the paths they paved for me to have the right to use my voice in such a powerful way. I won't ever take it for granted.

Voting was easy peasy. Go vote early. The lines were not bad at all and they had about 60 machines at my polling center. Took my 21 year old with me as well and ran into my sister.
