Texas Exes Houston Chapter

Shining a spotlight on Destry Flatt, our June Member of the Month! ⭐🤘

Destry joined the chapter after moving to Houston and hoping to meet new people. His first event, like many of you, was a football watch party at Little Woodrow's and he's been part of the Texas Exes family ever since. Now as Community Service Chair, he's one of the driving forces behind the friendliness and community spirit that make this chapter so special.

Outside of Texas Exes, Destry is an active member and assistant coach with the Houston Striders, occasionally leading Thursday runs along Buffalo Bayou and competing in races from 5Ks to marathons. When he's not running, you'll find him hiking, camping, or out on the water kayaking. We're lucky to call him a Longhorn and a friend. 🧡🏃‍♂️

The Burnt Orange Bash brought the whole crew together to celebrate one heck of a year and we did it the best way we knew how with BBQ, Tiff's Treats and awards! Thank you to every Longhorn who made 2025–26 one to remember. Hook 'em! 🤘🧡
