Take care of the course. Fix your ball marks, replace divots, rake bunkers. It’s simple, but it shows respect for the place and for the groups behind you.

Then there’s awareness. Stay quiet, don’t move in someone’s line, and don’t step where you shouldn’t on the greens. Little things, but they matter more than people think.

Safety is non-negotiable. If the group ahead isn’t clear, you wait. No exceptions.

And maybe the biggest one. Be honest. Count every stroke, take your penalties, and play it straight. That’s the foundation of the whole game.

Beyond that, it’s about being a good playing partner. Help look for balls, don’t give advice unless it’s asked for, let faster groups through, and know when to pick up if you’re holding things up.
