Forgetting how to play🥲

We get so tied up with all the duties and responsibilities of motherhood that we forget to play.

I was gifted this Cabbage Patch a few years ago and was reminded of the one I had as a kid…her name was Roberta and she had yellow yarn hair😜

I took my new one out the box and her head smells just like I remember (if you had one, you know the smell)!

Every now and then, I’ll sit with her and brush her hair. As I’m brushing, I’m not really thinking of anything in particular, I’m just in the moment.

Inner child healing/play has so many benefits including enhancing creativity, reduce anxiety, and restores the little girl in you that at one time, felt safe, free, and unafraid to fail💕

How do you play at your big age??

Mamas, it's so easy to get caught up comparing our experiences, our choices, and our progress but ummmm, don't do that😕

Remember, your journey as a mother is perfectly imperfect, just like you. Embrace it with open arms, nurture yourself with self-compassion, and DO WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU AND YOURS!!!!!!

Read and repeat, even if you don't believe it...eventually you will. This is how you train your subconscious mind, which is like a muscle you have to train to gain strength✨
