Hi, my name is Mermaid, and I am a 5 1/2 year-old, 60 lbs., American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I was saved by my foster mom from a local kill shelter, but now I need to find my forever home! I get along with other dogs, but I prefer male dogs. I’ve never met a kid or adult that I didn’t like, I will take all the attention i can get. I am an energetic, healthy girl! I enjoy going on walks, playing in the backyard, I am crate trained, I know sit and stay commands, but my foster mom says I tend to forget if I get too excited. Meet Johnny, a loving, playful boy who has learned his basic commands while awaiting for his forever home. Johnny is athletic, energetic, and full of love, and he is ready to bring fun, adventure, and plenty of cuddles into your life. Johnny was found on a rainy day as a malnourished puppy near a busy road. Thankfully, he was rescued and nurtured back to health, and now he’s a strong, playful boy ready to bring joy to a loving family. Currently, Johnny is spending too much time in a kennel while his foster parent works long hours. He’s eager for a home where he can thrive, ideally with an active mom or dad, or perhaps some playful siblings to keep him company. Johnny is kennel trained and has mastered using the doggie door for potty breaks. He loves to play with toys, go on walks and running around in the yard. Johnny has gone through training and has learned basic commands and how to walk well on a leash. He is a very smart boy eager to please. We had so much fun with Jenevi's Pet Services and Dogs Got Souls at Patterson Park HTX today! Congrats to our raffle winner who won our dog basket. Paws crossed our adoptable dogs get some adoption applications!
